With spring underway and summer soon to arrive, I wanted to have something cute and stylish to tie my hair back with. I designed the Lattice Crochet Hair Tie pattern so that it can be worn in several different ways. You can tie it around a ponytail, or wear it as a headband with the tie either at the back or the front.
This crochet hair tie pattern uses very little yarn, so you can use whatever you have waiting to be used up in your stash. This is great for a stash busting project!
I’ve also made the hair tie pattern in 2 sizes; adult and child. Either size fits an adult, but I found the child size to be the perfect length to tie at the front. And the adult size leaves a longer tie that looks super cute tied at the back.
The size is also easily adjustable to make it longer or shorter. Just continue adding rows before last 4 decrease rows to make it longer, or to make it shorter, do less rows in the middle.
I can’t wait to see your Lattice Hair Tie! What colour will you make your hair tie in? Leave me a comment below!
